BattleWatch is an addon designed for players who don't use any action bars, hide many of their buttons, or generally want a clear visual helper for watcching the GCD. It represents all the abilities you use via a scrolling panel; when the panel's borders are red (and an ability is in "the pit"), your actions are on GCD. Otherwise, you can use them freely.

/bw will show you the (barebones) slash commands.
There is a bug where occasionally the first character loaded for each run of wow.exe won't track actions properly. A quick /script ReloadUI() will fix this for the rest of your sessions, until you quit WoW again.
0.3.0 - Totally redesigned the scrolling system. FPS will no longer make the timer inaccurate. It now also shows a spellcast as two icons, linked by a bar; it can, in fact, be used as a makeshift casting bar.
In addition, a tiny options menu has been added. Access it by typing /battlewatch. It has the following options:
size - determines how long a timespan the bar will track
scale - scales the entire thing (this may not scale scrolling speed right, but the gcd will be right)
always show, lock - as before
scroll direction - BattleWatch can now scroll left, right, up, or down!
The scroll direction menu display is a little off - I couldn't find suitable radial buttons - and switching the scroll direction while a spellcast is going on may have bizarre results, but it's generally quite functional.

The code is an absolute mess, channeled spells are not yet supported, and saved variables are still MIA, but it can't be helped at the moment. I'm off to start a new semester and won't be able to test for a few months, so feel free to implement any of above features; I'd be glad to answer any questions about how or why the AddOn works the way it does, and am always open to suggestions. In the meantime, I'll just be cleaning up code... some comments are long outdated, it's not organized, and fragments aren't even used. It needs a nice haircut. :]
